"THE THINGS WHICH GOD HATH PREPARED"
I Corinthians 2:9, 10
The
thoughts of God that roll away the stone
Of burdening belief and prisoning fear
Teach us that Love, the Comforter, is here,
Preparing fields of blessings broadly sown.
Heaven's fairest view, Love's optimum, is known
To those pure hearts that look with vision clear
From heavenly heights and see divinely near
The flower of Love's infinity full-blown.
This Love, divine encircling Love, will keep
Eternal safeguard of the eternal fold;
Thus to the risen sense there is no steep
Ascent to peace. Love's quickenings uphold
The innocent of heart and feed the sheep
On mountain heights of grace and joy untold.
