Forty-four years ago I began the study of Christian Science, and it has been my unfailing helper ever since. I first became interested through the healing of a friend, and I realized that I had found the truth for which I had long been seeking.

My first healing was of catarrh, which had troubled me from childhood. One specialist had given me treatment which had been effective for a few months only; another, after a very painful examination, told me that nothing could be done for me. The condition left me after a few weeks' study of Christian Science and with it went a tendency to constant colds. The healing has been permanent.

I was instantaneously healed of influenza. Another healing for which I am particularly grateful was that of a condition which caused me much discomfort and which I feared might be cancer. That healing came at the close of a Wednesday testimony meeting in a Church of Christ, Scientist. I had been in a state of great fear, pain, and misery, but during the singing of the last hymn the difficulty entirely vanished, and it never troubled me again.
