A Worthy Threshold

It is with heartfelt joy that we tell of this unfolding of God's plan for the growth of the Christian Science movement in this field.

In October, 1954, a committee was formed for the express purpose of finding a suitable ground-floor location for our Reading Room. Specific metaphysical work was taken up by the committee and was followed by the human footsteps of surveying possible locations. The more desirable sites were offered to the executive board of the church, but each site in turn was found to lack some quality deemed necessary.
