With a humble heart I submit this testimony of healing. About two years ago I was knocked down by an automobile while I was crossing the street. When I regained consciousness, the first thought that came to me was that God is my Life and that there are no accidents in divine Mind. I was most grateful that I did not feel any resentment towards the driver of the car which had hit me.

Because of the driver's liability insurance, I was taken to the hospital for an X ray, but I would not consent to any material remedies. Those in attendance were alarmed about me and said that they could not leave me in that condition. I told them that I was a Christian Scientist and that God was taking care of me. A practitioner was asked to work for me and lovingly did so.

The X ray showed a broken collarbone and other injuries, and the doctor said he thought my skull was fractured. I did not doubt God's loving care for His children because I had had many beautiful experiences of healing since becoming interested in Christian Science. I knew that God would never fail. Words cannot convey how absent from the body I felt through this whole experience. I was up and around the second day, and my complete healing came through Christian Science. My gratitude is boundless for this proof of God's love.
