THE DEMONSTRATION OF MAN'S FREEDOM

History often records the great hardships which mankind has experienced in its quest for surcease from bondage and suffering. Because of their great desire for liberty of conscience and to worship God in their own way, the Pilgrims were willing to give up their homes and to face unknown dangers in a new land.

The children of Israel were impelled by God to take their journey into the promised message (Deut. 5:6), "I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage."
