Judi Witty

On this program Mrs. Judi Witty of New York City told of her own experience, as follows:

I had worked in the theatrical profession from the time I was thirteen years old. But in my late teens I found myself without a job and not able to find one that suited my particular talents. I was living alone, away from home, and I faced great competition in an overcrowded field.

I had always been a Christian Scientist, and, as a matter of fact, I was still in the Sunday School. I had experienced physical healings through Christian Science, but this was something of a different nature, and I was most anxious to correct the situation with my own understanding of God; and I began to study more persistently. As I look back upon the experience now, I realize it was only human will and pride which kept me from calling a Christian Science practitioner for help.
