It is with reverence and gratitude that I give this testimony, for I have read many helpful testimonies by others. My first healing after I began the study of Christian Science was of a bladder and kidney trouble of long standing. Since then there have been healings of colds, lumbago, and headaches, as well as of grief at the passing of my mother.

One day a friend and I were driving to another town about a hundred and fifty miles away. On the way a car suddenly stopped on the highway in front of us. We were not able to go around it since cars were coming from the other direction, and we had to head to the side of the road. When the car struck the sand at the side of the highway, it turned over twice.

As we were going over I declared: "Divine Mind alone governs. We are not hurt." The friend was thrown from the car, but neither of us was hurt. We were able to drive the car back home.
