I should like to mention a few of the many blessings my family and I have experienced since Christian Science came like a bright light into our lives eighteen years ago. At that time my wife was suffering from an acute intestinal disorder. A doctor said that she could live only a few months.

A kind practitioner visited my wife, and our confidence and trust were revived. The practitioner prayerfully worked with untiring devotion, and soon there was great improvement. Although my wife had been unable to retain any solid food for months, she now ate all that was set before her without suffering any ill effect. She also slept normally again and before long was entirely well.

Christian Science became a wonderful blessing in our family life. Our joy and gratitude were great, and these led us to seek more of this new way of life. We attended the church services regularly, and they always left a deep impression on us. Our understanding of Truth steadily increased, and the illnesses which attacked our children were overcome with the aid of a practitioner. Various bad habits fell away from me almost without an effort on my part. Unemployment, lack of a home, financial difficulties, and many other problems were solved through the inspiration of divine Love.
