It is a joy to express my gratitude to God for His protection and healing power. I am very grateful for the truths I am learning in the Christian Science Sunday School.

One day I took my younger brother to the swimming pool for a lesson. While I was waiting for him to get his bathing suit on in the dressing room, a friend came and told me a locker had fallen on my brother, cutting a deep gash in his back.

In the gymnasium where my brother was taken, the Red Cross official said to take him to the dispensary and to have stitches taken in the cut. Right away I silently denied that man had had an accident, and I whispered the truth in my brother's ear. Then I called my daddy to come and take him home. Daddy immediately gave my brother a Christian Science treatment, and a short time later the cut healed without a stitch having been taken in it.
