"THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR"

Revelation 22:16

After the night of darkness,
Before the daylight hour,
Luminous, steadfast, lovely,
Rises the morning star;
Blessing the shrouded valley
With surety of dawn—
After the night of darkness
Ensign of joy is shown.

After the dream of sorrow,
Of dark uncertainty,
Love's light enfolds the morrow
In healing radiancy;
Beacon of bright abiding,
Truth's token, flaming far,
Proclaims: Behold, arisen,
Science, our morning star!
