RADIO PROGRAM No. 109 - An Answer to Problems of Loss

Richard Severson

On this program Richard Severson of Manila, Philippine Islands, told of his own experience. The program was as follows:

Speaker: Our topic today is An Answer to Problems of Loss. The experience you are about to hear may seem remarkable. But it happened just this way. Now here is Richard Severson himself to tell you about it. He's an advertising agency executive from Manila in the Philippines. I understand you were in the Army when this occurred, Mr. Severson.

Mr. Severson: Yes, and this happened while I was stationed down in Sydney, Australia, right after the last war. My car was stolen. I reported it to the police, but it seemed like nothing happened at all. It looked as though I would never really get my car back. But I knew something about Christian Science, and I knew that many problems had been solved with the help of this religion, though I, myself, hadn't used it as I should have used it up until this time.
