DIVINE POWER AND HUMAN COMPETENCE

Interesting narratives in both the Old and the New Testament give comforting assurance of human ability to reflect divine power. The patriarchs, prophets, and apostles demonstrated this power in marked degree. Through spiritual understanding, Christ Jesus was fully competent to utilize the power of God to heal all manner of human ills.

Many in the Christian world today are looking to God for enlightenment and for the power to heal by spiritual means alone. They are learning to approximate the heavenly ways and means of the Master. Christian Science is lighting the pathway. This Science, discovered and founded by Mary Baker Eddy, reveals the practical meaning of the Psalmist's words (Ps. 62:11), "Power belongeth unto God."
