I should like to tell of how I was healed through Christian Science. I had sciatica very badly and had been crippled for many months. Medical care did not help me, and I got very depressed.

I wrote to my sister who lives in Northern Rhodesia telling her of my misery. Some days afterward I had a reply from her saying: "You poor dear, you do sound miserable and at the end of your tether. Why on earth don't you see a Christian Scientist? Christian Science cured me of arthritis in my hip. My husband and I were going blind, and because of our age the doctor could not do anything for us. Christian Science cured us, and we can now read and write without glasses."

In her letter my sister gave me the name and address of a Christian Science practitioner who lived not far from me. She also told me of the Christian Science Reading Rooms, where I could get "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
