SEEING GOD'S PERFECT CHILD

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Dick was in the fifth grade at public school. He was also a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School, where his mother had enrolled him when he was four years old. In his Sunday School class the teacher and pupils talked of God's perfection, and the teacher explained how all of His children reflect His goodness. Before Dick started out for school every morning, he and his mother spent some time studying the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

Through the explanations of God's love and guidance of His children which appear in these books, Dick was able to understand that no matter where he was, there God was also, supplying him with all good. He also remembered the stories in the Bible of those brave men, like David, who put their trust in God.

An opportunity for Dick to put to work his understanding of God and man came the day that Dick's mother said that she would have to be away from the city for the entire day.
