While suffering from a rheumatic heart, I felt that all earthly hope and happiness were gone from me. The enlightened understanding of the love of God, which was imparted to me by a consecrated Christian Science practitioner, so inspired and encouraged me that I was entirely healed, although medical aid of several years had failed to cure me. So profound was the effect of this healing experience that I became a sincere student of Science. Much loving help was given me at that time by an attendant in a Reading Room. Other healings followed, and heavy burdens and false responsibilities were put down. I was led to join The Mother Church and a branch church. Now I am joyfully serving our great Cause as a Second Reader. My life has been transformed by Christian Science.

Countless blessings have been mine, including the precious experience of class instruction and the inspiring annual association meetings. The real meaning of friendship has become understood, and I have many true friends.

My sincere wish is that I may let my light so shine that others may find Love's way out of the darkness. My gratitude overflows to God for our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has revealed to this age the Comforter promised by Christ Jesus.—(Mrs.) Prudence Marie Beyer, Monterey, California.
