TRUSTWORTHINESS

Does discouragement seem to start
From giving God but half our heart?

     But moral courage bids us live
     Endowed with Christ's prerogative.
     To scourging sense, opposing change,
     It says, "There's nought to disarrange
     Mind's perfect order, plan, and grace;
     Throughout eternity and space,
     God's allness leaves no lie of need,
     Nor will, nor power, nor finite creed."

Thus the affections relegate
Errors to dust; and Soul's mandate
Unfurls Love's way, advanced and free.
Man serving Truth trustworthily.
