I wish to express my gratitude to God for the great truth that "now are we the sons of God" (I John 3:2) and that man always has been and ever will be perfect. I am also grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for sharing her discovery, Christian Science, with us and for giving us the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and her other writings.

When I came into Science I was mentally, physically, and financially depleted. I met a practitioner who gave me a few treatments and encouraged me to study Science. Then I began the daily reading of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly and attended a Church of Christ, Scientist, in my neighborhood. I was amazed to see how self-righteous I had been and what wretched thoughts I had been entertaining.

After an earnest endeavor to express more love, compassion, and forgiveness, I had an instantaneous healing of chronic biliousness and sick headaches. These words came to me: "Divine Mind is never weary." I suddenly felt like a new person and was strong and rested. My first clear understanding of Science and Health came with this healing. I was overjoyed and grateful beyond words.
