The Christian Science Organization at Northern Illinois State Teachers College reported that its participation in the student activities carnival was successful. The organization set up a display in order to explain the functions of a Christian Science Organization to the student body. The members of the organization felt that a display of Mary Baker Eddy's writings, The Christian Science Monitor, and other periodicals would help to spread the healing message of Christian Science. The organization reports:

"A room in which to prepare our project and work on it was lovingly provided in the home of our adviser. Our organization and those not yet members worked on the display whenever they had free hours. Among the tasks to be accomplished were the lettering' of the sign to read 'Christian Science Organization'; the mounting of pertinent feature articles in the Monitor with plastic covers to make them noticeable and to preserve them; and the working out of a suitable arrangement for the display.

"The extra help needed on the final day came spontaneously, and everything fell into alignment almost effortlessly. The setting up of the displays was allowed to start three hours before the carnival was scheduled to begin. Since our adviser's home is located right by the campus, it took very little effort to bring the parts of the display to the gymnasium.
