I wish to express gratitude for Christian Science and its healing efficacy. Through it I have received immediate healings. However, a healing of asthma was slow because of my early training in scholastic theology.

The unfoldment of God as Love, instead of a God of good and evil, became an all-absorbing interest. The true meaning of time-honored Bible quotations became clearer. "The kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:21) meant to me that heaven, harmony, can be experienced now, not merely after death. "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" (Phil. 2:12) referred to the glorious warfare with oneself. "I and my Father are one" (John 10:30) meant that man and his creator are inseparable. With this unfoldment came the healing of the asthma.

I am increasingly grateful to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Her discovery that the real man is spiritual now, and forever, is the most wonderful discovery of all. Her loving, persistent, untiring effort to give it to the world is the reason for my gratitude to her.
