After many years of enjoying benefits derived from the study and application of Christian Science, I feel that I should show my appreciation by sharing with others some of my healings. "Man's extremity is God's opportunity," and it was indeed my extremity that led me to ask a Christian Science practitioner for help for a very severe nervous breakdown.

Many false traits of character had to be overcome, but through the loving patience of the practitioner I received my healing. This occurred about twenty-seven years ago, and I have never had a recurrence of the trouble since. I was also healed of blood poisoning in a very short time, and scarlet fever entirely disappeared in less than a week. For all these healings I am most grateful.

I should also like to express my sincere gratitude for adequate supply. Previous to taking up the study of Christian Science I was very much inclined to worry about supply, but now I know that, as Mrs. Eddy informs us in the following statement from "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 307): "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies."
