RADIO PROGRAM No. 49 - The Divine Remedy for Diseases Called Incurable

On this program Mrs. Dorothy R. Thomson of Dallas, Texas, told of her own experience, as follows:

A well-known physician and surgeon suggested Christian Science to me nineteen years ago. Our first child was delivered by surgery because of my physical condition, which was said to include serious internal malformations. I was also told that I must never have another child.

After the child's birth I did not regain my health, but spent many months under a doctor's care until I was virtually bedridden. The condition appeared very serious, and one day, much discouraged, I asked the family physician how much longer he thought I might live. He replied, "I don't know—possibly six weeks."
