CHRIST IN COMMAND

"Christ presents the indestructible man, whom Spirit creates, constitutes, and governs. Christ illustrates that blending with God, his divine Principle, which gives man dominion over all the earth." So writes Mary Baker Eddy in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 316).

Man has always existed, and now exists, in the perfection of the Christ-consciousness. Just as Jesus claimed his inseparability from the Christ, so we through our highest humanhood should identify man with the Christ and thereby heal the sick mortal, whether it be ourself or another.

Let us never lose sight of the Christ, Truth, but be with it day and night by dwelling upon its power, perfection, and complete supremacy. Let us never forget that we live in God, Life; that we have the Mind of Christ; that we move in the strength of Spirit, and have our being in perfection.
