Reading Room Fruitage from Radio Series

The Sunday morning radio series "How Christian Science Heals" is bringing widespread and concrete results. Hundreds of letters from inquirers pour into The Mother Church each week in response to these programs. In addition, Reading Rooms report a marked increase in attendance and interest directly traceable to the broadcasts. These inquirers receive a warm welcome from alert librarians.

The jointly maintained Reading Room in Houston, Texas, writes: "Attendance in the study room is increasing. Many readers report their newly acquired interest is due to the radio programs. The programs seem especially appealing to one particular Protestant group. Last week there were three from this denomination who came during the afternoon to buy literature and borrow books. Another day there were eleven from this same faith using the study room in one afternoon."

Similarly the jointly maintained Reading Room in Denver, Colorado, reports: "We are having so much response from the radio program 'How Christian Science Heals.' We know of two who have started to read through accidentally turning on that program this month, and we have sold twenty-three of the Students' and Library Editions of 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures' by Mary Baker Eddy this month. We know it is doing unlimited good."
