If we could holdAll that the world calls substanceIn our grasp,We would not have true wealth.The treasury of kings,The jewels of earth,Can never satisfy the soul'sHunger and thirst for good.

Only the bread of SpiritCan ever nourish man,Only the substanceOf unfading Truth enrich.He lives, the Father's child,In affluence divine—His treasury, God-given thoughts,His jewels, glowing deeds of love.
