DIVINE ESTATE

If we could hold
All that the world calls substance
In our grasp,
We would not have true wealth.
The treasury of kings,
The jewels of earth,
Can never satisfy the soul's
Hunger and thirst for good.

Only the bread of Spirit
Can ever nourish man,
Only the substance
Of unfading Truth enrich.
He lives, the Father's child,
In affluence divine—
His treasury, God-given thoughts,
His jewels, glowing deeds of love.
