I was not primarily interested in healing when I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, but I was much in need of a better understanding of God. I am deeply grateful to the friend who presented Christian Science to me and invited me to attend a Wednesday evening testimony meeting at The Mother Church. I was so impressed with the truth I heard that I have since attended the Church of Christ, Scientist.

Through the study of Science and Health the Bible has been opened to me as a guide for living. During my first few weeks of study I was healed of constipation, which had been a problem since childhood. Later, when I took my stand resolutely for Truth, I was healed instantaneously of tonsillitis, which had appeared regularly every year. At that time all my medicine was thrown out, and I have used none since.

A nervous condition, pneumonia, and grief at the passing of my husband were overcome. In each instance the healing came while I was a guest at the Sanatorium of the Christian Science Benevolent Association, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Words cannot express my deep appreciation of the love that was manifested during my three visits there.
