Christian Science has changed...

Christian Science has changed my whole outlook on life. I was a medical nurse; now I depend on God alone for healing. Science has been my only medicine for nearly thirty years, and it has healed me of grief at the passing of loved ones, when no material remedies could possibly have done so.

Christian Science has also come to my help in time of accidents. One day I turned my ankle, and the pain was excruciating. I repeated with all the vigor I could "the scientific statement of being," on page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The pain ceased and I went on rejoicing and thanking God for Christian Science. However, after I went to bed that night the pain returned. At first I was fearful, but I sat up and quietly waited for God to show me what to do. Mrs. Eddy's hymn, "Christ My Refuge" (Poems, pp. 12, 13), came to me. I felt a sweet sense of relief, and all pain left me instantly as I thought of the words,
