SERVING
Waken
, my heart,
To see thy brother's need.
Be not reluctant to accept the part;
Men wait not word alone, but unselfed deed.
In the vast whole of serving God and man
A place for each defined is in His plan.
Though small the doing seem, perhaps untold
The joy to him safe guided to the fold.
For every welcomed task reward is sure,
No selfless prayer unheard in healing's art.
Seek then with motive pure;
Serve with thy heart.
