"NO CHANGE MY HEART SHALL FEAR"

In human existence there are constant changes going on, changes in relationships, in movements, in health, in possessions—in all avenues of activity. These constant changes have resulted in conditions of uncertainty, suffering, and insecurity among men. Shakespeare depicts in vivid language the round of human change from helpless childhood to old age.

Christian Science has come to show mankind how to meet this challenge of constant change, with its uncertainty and insecurity, through the understanding of the changeless, harmonious nature of God as divine Principle, and the orderly government of His perfect spiritual universe, including man.

In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy describes the real nature of man and the universe in part in the following words (p. 475): "That which has no separate mind from God; that which has not a single quality underived from Deity; that which possesses no life, intelligence, nor creative power of his own, but reflects spiritually all that belongs to his Maker."
