I am thankful that Christian Science enables us to use understandingly the teachings of the Bible in our daily experiences. I taught my son to read the Bible before he entered each golf tournament in which he played, and he was twelve times state amateur golf champion.

Also I am thankful that we have the Bible and the Christian Science literature to study, and I wish to express gratitude for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church. For the opportunity of attending Sunday services in The Mother Church and of seeing the Christian Science Publishing House, I am very grateful.

A number of years ago, while a house was being constructed for me, new doors were delivered at the unfinished building and placed inside. During the night the doors disappeared. I held to the thought that there is nothing lost in divine Mind, that God has prepared a safe place for everything, and that I would be led to what was mine. Also I relied on the truth of these words in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 454): "Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way."
