My gratitude is great for all the blessings which I have enjoyed since taking up the study of Christian Science and putting into practice the truths which it has taught me. I am especially grateful that this wonderfully practical religion was presented to me when I was still able to spend a few years in the Sunday School. For the foundation which was laid there by faithful teachers and for the fact that my own three children now have the privilege of attending there, I am indeed thankful. I did not come to Christian Science seeking physical healing, but I had an earnest desire to know more of God, to understand Him better, and to live closer to Him. This I am learning to do through the teachings of Christian Science. During the years I have experienced healings of many minor ailments, including yellow jaundice, influenza, mumps, and severe headaches.

Business and financial problems have been solved when Christian Science has been faithfully applied. When our home became inadequate for our needs, a new place was found. The former home was sold at a time when the real estate business was said to be at a standstill, and our new home has proved a source of blessings in many ways.

When our little boy had the end of his finger severed in an accident, I was able to be calm and peaceful in the knowledge that God alone is powerful. With the loving help of a practitioner the finger healed quickly and completely without the use of medical aid. Within a week the skin had drawn together, and the following week the nail commenced to grow again.
