About twenty-nine years ago I first learned of Christian Science through the healing of my mother. She had been subject to severe attacks of gallstones for years, and physicians had told her that surgery offered the only relief. Through friends she heard of Christian Science and had the help of a practitioner. She was completely healed, and we were truly grateful for this wonderful demonstration of God's power.

There have been various other healings in the family. At one time I was afflicted with a pernicious bowel condition, which I feel would have meant resorting to surgery had I been under medical care. The faithful work of a practitioner and my persistent and absolute reliance on Christian Science brought a complete healing.

I am truly grateful to God for the privilege of learning of this wonderful truth which Mrs. Eddy has given to mankind and for the help it has been to us and to all those who depend upon it.—(Mrs.) Pearl Gaines Potter, Frankfort, Michigan.
