A PLACE PREPARED

John 14:2

Through every door that opens before my questing feet
The dear Christ goes before me, my daily needs to meet.
Bright days of high adventure, gray days of slower tread,
Are strewn with Love's fair tokens, for Love the way has led.
Love with me—Love before me: what further could I need?
Kind hearts will speak me welcome, where'er my road may lead.
In all God's many mansions no grace will He forget;
The warming fire is lighted, the homely table set.
