It is with sincere and heartfelt...

It is with sincere and heartfelt gratitude that I wish to give a testimony of some of my healings in Christian Science. Many years ago Christian Science dispelled my fear of tuberculosis, a condition which my mother had had and of which I was in much dread. Later, I drifted away from Science, but the seed of Truth had been sown; and eventually, through trials and tribulation, I was again led to this religion. My extremity was surely God's opportunity, as I was confronted with a problem in human relationship which I felt I could neither endure nor overcome. With the help of a practitioner condemnation of others and many other faults of my own were recognized and later overcome. As a result, the relationship was harmoniously adjusted. At that time I was healed instantaneously of the cigarette habit, although for years I had smoked to excess and been unable to free myself from the habit.

Christian Science healed me of colds, fear of which had become an obsession with me. I was a slave to medicine and would take it to prevent colds if I thought I had been exposed to them in any way. Headaches were also healed. It was like waking from a nightmare to be free from them, and they have never returned. Other healings which I have had through the help of a practitioner and for which I am most grateful are those of constipation, lost appetite, and a lump on the back of my neck which caused me much fear. Grief at the passing of a loved one was overcome, and an impediment in speech that suddenly appeared was corrected within a few days.

For all these healings and other proofs of God's care too numerous to mention, I am truly grateful to our Father-Mother God.—(Mrs.) Esther Heller, Peoria Illinois.
