"With God all things are possible" (Matt. 19:26), and I am very grateful that Christian Science has made this fact a practical reality in my life. Many have been my blessings, and for every truth that unfolds through prayerful study I am indeed thankful.

It is about the birth of our son that I should particularly like to tell. I was very much impressed with a testimony that appeared in the Sentinel, describing a harmonious childbirth experienced by a woman who found a verse in Isaiah (65:23) very helpful. This Bible passage was such an inspiration to me too that I memorized it and found it a daily help. A practitioner was called; and while earnest work was done by her I clung to the truth, as we are taught to do in Christian Science.

As the time for the birth approached, the doctor said that it would be wise to perform a Caesarean operation because of the hazardous position of the baby, as shown by an X-ray picture. However, he advised my husband that further X-ray pictures would be taken. The practitioner was notified of this and did prayerful work regarding it.
