Words fail to express my heartfelt gratitude for the many blessings that have come into my life since I began the study of Christian Science. Among them are membership in The Mother Church, our periodicals, class instruction, and the help of loving practitioners.

Thirty-three years ago a friend saw me shaking a bottle of medicine and asked me if I knew anything about Christian Science. I said that I knew very little about it, but had been told that it was very good. He asked me if I would like to borrow the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I replied that I would read anything that would help me. The next morning the book was at my door. I started to read it at once and have been studying it regularly ever since.

After my first absent treatment from a Christian Science practitioner all of my medicine was thrown out. I have been healed of heart trouble, nervous breakdown, lumbago, a growth on my hand, and numerous other ailments. Grief at the passing of my mother and of my husband has been overcome.
