"Beloved, let us love one another...

"Beloved, let us love one another" (I John 4:7) is my favorite text. Because of my love for my fellow men, I hope this testimony will help others as I have been helped many times by the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals.

Christian Science has been very dear to me since I was a young girl, and it was my constant guide in raising two daughters. By our turning immediately to the truth, as given us in the Bible and in Mrs. Eddy's writings, all our problems were met, most of them very quickly. Blood poisoning yielded when fear was cast out; earache and swelling behind the ear were healed as a practitioner continued to know the truth that makes free.

I always took my stand against physical examinations at school by asking the principal to excuse my children from them because these examinations conflicted with our religion, and in every case we received full co-operation. This stand encouraged others to resist the subtle argument, "The examinations don't hurt anyone," an argument which would prevent parents and children from standing for the truth.
