Dear Editor: Your editorial on New Jersey's recently enacted vaccination and immunization laws poses a few questions which I should like the privilege of answering in the columns of your newspaper.

First of all, the bills were introduced at the request of Christian Scientists for the purpose of providing local boards of education the legal right to exempt teachers and pupils from vaccination and pupils from immunization because of religious principles.
