It is with a grateful heart that I give my thanks to God for Christian Science and all that it has done for me and mine. Not many years ago I was placed in a situation which seemed almost unbearable to me. I suddenly had to begin a new life, so to speak. Friends that I had known for years were too far distant to meet and talk to. In fact, my entire mode of living was changed, and I could not understand why the event was bringing me so much grief.

It was at this point I turned wholeheartedly to God and to the teachings of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy. I shall never forget the feeling I had when I first entered the branch church in my new neighborhood. I knew I was home. I found it to be true that Church is "the structure of Truth and Love" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 583), and this realization so filled my thought that I was strengthened and made happy for the first time in many months.

I had Christian Science treatment at the birth of each of our three children. These experiences will always be an inspiration to me. The confinement in each case was a joyous one, and I will never cease to be grateful for the loving support of a very dear practitioner.
