I wish to express my deep gratitude to God for Mrs. Eddy. I write this testimony in sincere acknowledgment of the wonderful protection I have received through Christian Science and especially for a healing of a disease that doctors pronounced hopeless.

More than twenty years ago, when I was living in the United States, I suffered an injury to my left leg in an accident. After a painful operation and long confinement in a hospital, I was able to go home, but I was not completely healed. The operation had not been successful, and an ulcer formed. Although medicines to stop suppuration were applied, the condition of the leg was no better, and the suffering I endured during a period of years is beyond description.

About three years ago a friend of mine who is a Christian Scientist lovingly guided me to a Christian Science Reading Room. Although I knew of this religion, my ignorance of what it was made me skeptical. Finally, I decided to attend a Sunday service in a Church of Christ, Scientist, and I became more interested. I straightway purchased the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and began earnestly to study it. I found this book a priceless treasure. Then I noticed with great joy and wonder that the so-called incurable disease had been healed. This healing was accomplished in about three weeks.
