I wish to express my gratitude for...
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the Christian Science periodicals, which I have found enlightening and helpful. I am most grateful for the loving practitioners and for my place in this wonderful movement. Our four children are in the Christian Science Sunday School, and I am grateful for the many instances of protection and healing which they have had.
I was brought into complete reliance on Christian Science when I was ailing in health and it seemed I would not be able to carry our youngest child. I had previously lost one child and was fearful of having another. Our entire family was in a most unhappy state, and our financial circumstances could not have been worse. I sent for a Christian Science practitioner, and her loving work guided me over the steep places. Later, with a nurse in attendance, a lovely little boy was born to us. Shortly after, all our affairs began to unsnarl. We found an attractive home, and God's goodness was unfolded to us. Our three older children were already Sunday School pupils, and at the age of six months we entered the baby in the nursery.
I am very grateful for the love and fellowship of our Christian Science Society and the opportunity to grow in understanding and expressing God. I am most grateful to God for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and for our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave us the opportunity to understand Christian Science and demonstrate it as far as we ourselves are willing to do so.—(Mrs.) Marjorie Lee Tate, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
