I came to Christian Science thirty years ago as a result of a healing of constipation after medical remedies had failed to help me. Since that time I have been healed, with the help of a practitioner, of blood poisoning. I had been in bed for two weeks with my foot and leg swollen up to the knee; then one morning I decided that that evening I must go to my schoolwork. I spent the entire day reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, endeavoring to cast out the fear which was holding me in bondage. When the evening came I dressed myself and went about my duties; the fear disappeared, and I came home healed.

I have had an instantaneous healing of influenza, and angina was also healed. I have had many other blessings through Christian Science. Class instruction has deepened my understanding of and strengthened my faith and confidence in God.
