It has been my privilege since I was a small child to know about Christian Science. Friends presented this blessed truth to my parents when my younger brother seemed to be passing on with bronchial pneumonia. His healing was immediate and permanent. I was then placed in a Christian Science Sunday School, which I attended until the age of twenty, when I began teaching a Sunday School class of little ones.

So-called children's diseases were always quickly overcome, and my front teeth were straightened without the use of braces. A case of ivy poisoning was healed in a matter of hours, as was an infected spider bite. A healing of influenza at the time of a high school final examination stands out in my memory, because I received the highest grade I had ever had in that course.

I am blessed with the loving, harmonious companionship of a husband who is also a sincere student of Christian Science and three children, all of whom were born under Christian Science treatment. Our little daughter, the second child, was nearly two months premature, and the case was a revelation to the doctor and nurses in attendance. The doctor, already familiar with Christian Science, acknowledged that only God could have done what was done.
