The testimonies of healing have been an inspiration to me on many occasions, and I sincerely hope that my experiences may give help and hope to others. When my son was six years old, and I was new in Christian Science, he was healed of the need of wearing glasses and of an impediment of speech, the aftermath of an illness, through my own slight understanding. Also warts on his hands disappeared when we decided to look away from the body into Life, Truth, and Love.

I have had many healings with the help of practitioners, and at one time I was healed overnight of what was apparently an abscessed tooth. A recent healing for which I am most grateful was that of insomnia. At the time that I went to visit the practitioner I was only sleeping about every other night. She recommended that I arise early enough each morning, no matter how late I had retired, and spend several hours reading and studying the truth. This I have done, and I now sleep soundly and normally, and best of all, my study has brought much joy and progress.
