In Psalms we find the following passage (16:5, 6): "The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage."

I became aware of this heritage about nineteen years ago, when I had the great privilege of learning of Christian Science. At that time sickness held a large place in my home, so much so that much of my salary went to pay doctors' bills and medicines. Through study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and also with the help of a consecrated practitioner, health, happiness, joy, and peace returned to my home. I have never again had to resort to medicine or take any material remedy, and I have had many blessings.

I have been healed of many ills, such as chronic angina, rheumatism, frequent and violent headaches, and colds that lasted all winter. I was also healed of the tobacco and drinking habits. As I have tried daily to rely more and more on Principle, Love, and to put into practice the teachings of our great Master, Christ Jesus, so-called problems have dissolved into their native nothingness.
