ASSURANCE

Only what God has done
Shall be forever;
The storm that hides the sun
Is passing over.

Your dwelling place is built
On rock foundation;
Vainly the floods assault
Such habitation.

The bow of promise will
Reward endurance,
And cloudless skies fulfill
Divine assurance.
