TO CHRISTIAN SCIENCE

Before you came into our home
Dark corners housed a hundred fears.
Our joys were fragile, soon to pass,
And laughter often turned to tears.

But with your coming, worlds all new
Open before us, like a flower.
We strive to keep and understand
The message of each perfect hour.

And when we walk the shadow road,
We know that Love will lead us on—
That angel thoughts will bring us home
With all our causeless sorrow gone.
