ASSETS FOR EVERYONE
[Original article in German]
To those who because of financial reverses or currency devaluation have lost their savings, or who are worried about losing their present source of supply, Christian Science is of invaluable comfort and a sure and effective aid. Through this Science we learn that God is all substance and that all cause and effect belong to Him; hence He is the one infinite source of all supply now and forever. Joyfully each one may listen to the voice of his heavenly Father saying to him today, "Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine."
The fact that the real man coexists with God as His image and likeness means that man has access to all that belongs to God, to infinite good. This asset of good is permanent; it is not subject to depreciation, fluctuation, limitation; it can never diminish, be blocked or confiscated. It is forever ours and may be drawn on and utilized at all times.
We cannot be grateful enough for our divine heritage of good. The Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, says in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 307): "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for to-morrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment. What a glorious inheritance is given to us through the understanding of omnipresent Love! More we cannot ask: more we do not want: more we cannot have. This sweet assurance is the Peace, be still' to all human fears, to suffering of every sort."
