My mother became interested...
My mother became interested in Christian Science at the time of my birth, when she was attended by a nurse who was a student of this Science. Because the birth was so harmonious, the attending physician dismissed the case three days after the birth, saying there was no further need for him.
When three years old, I was hit by an automobile, the wheels running over both legs. With the prompt help of a Christian Science practitioner. I was able to walk in a week's time, completely healed. I also received healings of whooping cough and a badly infected thumb. Later the cigarette smoking habit was overcome in less than a week by absent treatment. A deep sense of depression, headaches, backaches, colds, and extreme exhaustion were healed.
Words cannot express the appreciation I feel for the privilege of being a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church. For the understanding I have of Christian Science, I am sincerely grateful.—(Mrs.) Dorothy D. Dyson, Springfield, Massachusetts.
