PROTECTION THROUGH TRUST IN GOD
Many are the slogans and varied is the propaganda used to convince mankind that its safety and security are vested in material means and methods. The alert thinker, however, will not be deceived by these claims of mortal mind to usurp the power and protection afforded only by God, his creator, and will realize that his true safety and security come from an understanding trust in the divine Mind.
Prophets and apostles exhorted their people to turn to God, Spirit, for protection and guidance. Why is it, then, that men's thoughts turn to every other conceivable means of protection? Is it not because they think of themselves as mortals, living in a material universe, fearful that there will be a lack of supply and health, or that they may be subject to danger and destruction?
