CHRISTLY LOVE
Some
there were who loved him,
hearing what he said,
willing to be led
to the quiet places
where his spirit rested.
Often was he tested
by some who would not listen.
He would not let them go
easily. He loved them so.
Determining to draw them, if he could,
to share the good he shared,
himself unspared from error's fury,
demonstrating—still unhurried—
spiritual Love.
